The United World Project was first launched during the Genfest, an international gathering in 2012.

It aims at drawing people’s attention to humanity’s journey towards fraternity and the means to achieve this is an international and permanent Observatory on universal fraternity. Its purpose is to increase and spread the culture of fraternity, not only by living universal fraternity on a personal level, but also in civil society and international institutions.

Everyone is invited to contribute to this project in two ways: by endorsing the Project and committing oneself to living for universal fraternity and by implementing and identifying micro and macro initiatives of fraternity.
